Principal's Message
A Message from Principal DiBernardi
Peter DiBernardi
July 14, 2025
Dear Lawrence Brook Elementary School Families,
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new principal of Lawrence Brook Elementary School. My name is Peter DiBernardi, and I am honored to join a school community that clearly values its students, families, and the power of education.
With over 30 years in the field of education, including 20 years as a school administrator, I am deeply committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for all students. My goal is simple: I want every child to love coming to school. When students feel supported, seen, and celebrated, they are more confident, motivated, and ready to grow both academically and socially. Add to that an environment rich in positive experiences, good decision making and strong character, and you have the opportunity for exceptional learning.
As a parent myself, I understand the trust you place in our school each day. My wife, Rosemarie, and I have been married since 1994 and are proud parents of three children and three very energetic dogs! I know how important it is to have open communication, strong school-home partnerships, and a shared vision for success.
At Lawrence Brook, I will work hand in hand with teachers, staff, and you, our families, to ensure every student has access to high-quality instruction, enriching experiences, and the emotional support they need to thrive. I also believe in learning beyond the walls of the classroom through outdoor education, community partnerships, and opportunities that spark curiosity and joy.
I have some exciting news for our learning community! The theme for 25-26 is “LB Learning is Out of this World!” It sounds like this year will be a blast!
I look forward to getting to know you and your children in the days and weeks ahead. Please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself or reach out. I value your input and am excited to work together to make Lawrence Brook the best it can be. Go Bears!
Warmest regards,
Peter DiBernardi
Principal
Lawrence Brook Elementary School
